UKA at KNI Referee Seminar

The UKA, along with many other associations, attended a referee seminar hosted by KNI (Karate Northern Ireland) at Queens PEC today.

They were given a presentation on ‘Concussion in Sport’ by Raymond Shannon, a Senior Trainer in Rescue Emergency Care (First Aid Trainers NI). This focused on what to look out for and more importantly the aftercare of such an injury.

After this we were presented with a revision of the rules by Sensei Brian Campbell, in preparation for the up and coming KNI event being held on 15th November at the PEC.

      Antrim Karate Club: Clip & Climb

      Antrim karate clubs FUN day out will be happening on 21st August. We are heading to clip & climb in dundonald, then onto a burger bar for some food. It all kicks off at 1:30pm.
